Lisa Friedman, M.A., CCC-SLP

Lisa has enjoyed pursuing her passion of helping kids communicate and develop academic based skills for the past 30 years! She received her Master of Arts, Speech Language Pathology Degree from Case Western University, and a Bachelor of Arts Honors Degree in Audiology and Speech Pathology at the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa. She holds Georgia licensure in speech-language pathology and certification from the American Speech-Language Association (ASHA). Lisa has diverse work experience at many specialized schools (The Howard School, Mill Springs Academy, Fulton Academy of Science and Technology) and programs (Babies Can't Wait). Lisa has received specialized training in the “It Takes Two to Talk" program. She has a unique understanding of how a children's speech and language delays can impact learning to read, write, and other academic skills. This knowledge and experience, together with being Orton Gillingham trained, provides for an all-in-one intervention program uniquely accommodating children with dyslexia and other learning challenges. Lisa's enthusiasm for her students and her all in approach fuels each child's confidence and success!

Ilyssa Sultanik, M.S., CCC-SLP

Ilyssa absolutely adores working with children to help them become more confident in themselves and their skills! She received her Masters of Science in Communicative Sciences and Disorders from New York University, and a Bachelors of Arts at the University of Pennsylvania. She holds Georgia licensure in speech-language pathology and certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Ilyssa had the privilege of training under members of the Social Thinking® Training and Speakers Collaborative at the Children’s Evaluation and Rehabilitation Center of Montefiore Hospital. At the Quad Preparatory School in NYC, Ilyssa gained invaluable experience helping twice exceptional students improve their executive function skills and social communication. Ilyssa has completed extensive training in Natural Language Acquisition through Marge Blanc's Communication Development Center. All of these experiences and trainings have led Ilyssa to specialize in supporting students in their social communication, executive functioning skills, and complex language skills. With her calm, warm and easily adaptable demeanor, Ilyssa loves supporting kids of all ages, including middle and high schoolers!
